NGC 6302 – a Hubble Telescope “SHO” mapped color image.

This is another version of the Butterfly Nebula from Hubble Telescope narrowband data using the SHO (Sulfur,  Hydrogen, Oxygen) color palette.  The data from the SII, Hydrogen alpha, and OIII filters was mapped to the red, green and blue channels respectively.  The image was assembled in PixInsight and then exported to Photoshop for final processing.
